Most enterprises – big or small – need more than just a logo for successful visual communication. Hence as designers, we ask the client and ourselves many questions before we create such a logo. What does the brand stand for? How is the logo going to be used? Who is going to see it? What feeling should it evoke in the recipient? How is it being reproduced? What will the rest of the visual identity look like? A logo is only as good as its application and constitutes just one element in a set of design tools that make up a visual identity.
